On Thursday January 30th a very successful Music Buffet was held at Newton’s Grove School. Thanks to parents of Music students in all grades for their generous donations! The Grade 9- 12 music students who are members of the Music Committee, worked hard to organize this fundraiser and ensure that it ran smoothly.
We fed the whole school and raised over $2760! Funds raised will be used to bring music supplies to Cuban students on our performance trip to Cuba next month. We will also be able to replace some of our aging percussion equipment. As well, we were able to make food donations to a local youth shelter.
I am so proud to be working with such a wonderful team of kids. They are truly an inspiration, and make me not only feel proud to work with them, but also give me great confidence in the youth of tomorrow. Thank you to all.Mr. Alonso

Their afternoon was spent on the ice and a great time was had by all! Congratulations Intermediates, on a fantastic term!
