Newton's Grove is a student-focused private school for children from JK through Grade 12. Surrounded by abundant green space, our growing state-of-the-art facility is bright, modern, and designed to stimulate and support every aspect of a student's development.
Our inquiry-based approach to learning exceeds Ministry of Education standards, and engages and inspires students to think critically, collaboratively and creatively at every stage of their unique journey toward success. Dynamic, well-rounded programming in academics, athletics, and the arts ensures our students realize their full potential—academically, socially and physically—and develop into whole individuals.
With small class sizes and a small student population, each student receives personal attention, guidance and encouragement. Well before their final year, Newton's Grove students are prepared and positioned to succeed in their post-secondary school of choice and beyond.
Arts programming at Newton's Grove includes music, visual and dramatic arts, and sparks self-expression and exploration while encouraging students to look at the world in new ways. Students will find themselves taking artistic risks, building confidence through collaborative efforts and helping to create annual productions.
Our renowned signature music program inspires an early love of music and encourages disciplined practice and mastery of an instrument. Newton's Grove students have successfully auditioned and been selected for the Provincial Honour Band, National Youth Band of Canada, and showcased at Carnegie Hall.
On our 40th anniversary, we moved into our new home at 6850 Goreway Drive. The entire facility—from fully-equipped science labs, athletics centre, to visual and dramatic arts rooms, the Learning Commons, and the music room and studio—has been thoughtfully designed to maximize the daily opportunities a student has to learn, strive, and grow.
