At Newton’s Grove Main Campus, we provide robust Summer Programs that offers the perfect blend of athletics, creativity, exploration, movement, and hands-on learning. Our engaging, entertaining, and informative summer programs offer experiences for children from JK right through to credit and non-credit courses for Grades 9-12 students.

Whether children are students here at Newton’s Grove School or from the wider community, are interested in athletic activities like soccer, basketball, and volleyball, music or dance, or want to boost specific academic skill sets, our Summer Programs offer a rich experience that keeps every camper happy and fully engaged throughout the summer.

This program builds upon the skills learned in Senior Kindergarten and Grade 1. Through reading, writing, and arithmetic skills; students are further prepared for entry into Grade 1 and 2. The morning session focuses on mathematics, fluency in oral reading and reading comprehension. Students will also participate in an “active bodies” program for a portion of the day.

This program focuses on developing academic skills while helping students adjust to full day schooling and structured activities. Emphasis is placed on early literacy and introductory mathematics. The academic portion is balanced with recreational activities including physical education and co-operative group activities. Academic and social skills will be further developed. It is the aim of this program to foster in the students a love of learning and understanding of their own academic and creative potential.

Experience the ultimate soccer training experience at the Newton’s Grove Soccer Camp, where young players receive elite instruction from athletes who have excelled at the highest levels of competition. Led by coaches who have competed in NCAA, and U-Sports, our camp offers a unique opportunity for young athletes to receive top-notch training from those who know what it takes to succeed. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, our coaches will work with you to enhance your technique, improve your game intelligence, and unleash your full potential. During the camp dancers participate in a variety of skills focused on different aspects of acro and dance. These may include training in handstands, rolls, and cartwheels, and dance techniques like ballet, jazz, and hip hop will be introduced.

Volleyball Camp (Grades 4 – 8)

Campers will train with talented and experienced coaches with a focus on both fun and skill development. Players of all skill levels are invited to register for the camps! Newton’s Grove Volleyball Camp prepares athletes with basic technical skill development and game play. Coaches and staff will provide instruction to meet the needs of the individual to improve their skills and enjoyment of the game. Their experience working with players from the grassroots level to those becoming recognized in the OUA and OCAA, guarantees a fun yet challenging opportunity for participants to be reminded of the fundamentals, compete strategically, and strengthen mental toughness.

This program is intended for students who have at least two years of band experience. While focusing on improving their technique, students will be working on jazz music as well as advanced band repertoire. This program is intended to allow students to perform with the Senior Band as well as the jazz band during the school year. The students will also take part in a Final Performance!

The Nike Basketball Camp is for young athletes who want to learn the fundamentals of basketball, improve their basketball skills, and further develop their on-court athleticism in a fun yet competitive and engaging environment. Campers will enjoy outstanding instruction, skill development, situational training, and game simulation.

This course takes what students already know about functions and develops it to the next level. Students work with more complex types of functions—like polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric—and learn how they behave, how to combine them, and how to look at how they change over time.

It’s an important stepping stone for students who plan to take Calculus and Vectors in Grade 12, and it’s also great for students who want to solidify their math skills before heading to university.
