Where are they now: Dr. Giulia Guarna Alumni Dr. Guarna graduated Newton’s Grove School in 2011 and pursued an Honours Bachelor of Science Biology at McMaster University. She then went on to acquire a Doctor of Medicine at McMaster University, followed by a Residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at McMaster University. Of her time at Newton’s Grove and the preparation it offered for university and life in general, she says: “Being around a diverse group of people prepared me for the real world. I valued all of the extracurricular activities that I was able to participate in (school play, sports, etc.) as they helped me to create friendships but also gave me transferable skills that I was able to take into my future career” We wish Giuliana much luck in all of her endeavours!
