National Day For Truth and Reconciliation Citizenship Newton’s Grove was a sea of orange as they wore their orange shirts in recognition of Indigenous people who have been affected by Canada’s history with the residential school system. Students took many opportunities to learn about the histories of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit people.
