Lego Drop Academics The grade 3s were tasked with combining any 20 LEGO bricks together so that when dropped from a defined height they do not break apart. Students constructed and modified their creations to figure out what configuration of pieces would withstand the drop the best.In phase one, students dropped their creations from shoulder height and then by standing on a small bench. We then took our creations to the next level. Literally! We went up to the second floor and dropped our bricks to the ground below. It was quite a lot of fun with many squeals of excitement as we watched some creations land and stay together and watched others explode into bits.
