Biodiversity Academics For their biodiversity science unit, Grade 6 students created their own terrariums by gathering local flora. They learned that terrariums are self-sustaining ecosystems that recycle water and nutrients. They also made connections to the Indigenous Peoples of Canada who have a special connection to the land never using any more resources than what the environment can support.
