Biodiversity Science Unit

For their biodiversity science unit, grade 6 students are learning how to classify living things into 5 kingdoms. Today students explored nature in the Paul Coffey Park by gathering samples of living things and using the app “picture this” to identify the various plant species. Afterwards, students worked in small groups outdoors and shared their findings. They also organized their findings on a tree diagram.
