Embarking on an Extraordinary Journey: Our 2024 Global Student Experience to Italy

Italy Feature

It is with immense excitement that we embarked on our 2024 global studies trip to Italy, a testament to our commitment to facilitating extraordinary student experiences and learning opportunities inside and outside of the classroom. More than a school trip, it was a chance for our students to take a deep dive into the heart of history, culture, and culinary delights, and gain a real-world understanding of their place in the vast tapestry of global society.

A Journey Through the Heart of Italy

Our 2024 excursion guided our students through the cobblestone streets and historic vistas of Italy’s most iconic cities: Rome, Florence, Verona, and Venice.

Each city is a chapter in the living history book of Italy, offering such stories, experiences, and vistas as time-traveling experiences through ancient ruins, the majestic Colosseum, the works of such timeless greats as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and other titans of art and science, the well-renowned labyrinth of waterways that weave through the city of Venice, not to mention all of the stunning architecture, and world-renowned cuisine.

This journey represented an unparalleled opportunity to expand our students’ horizons, offering them a deeper understanding of the world and their role within it. For some, it ignited a passion for Italian cuisine, others gravitated towards its history, and the arts, still others found wonder simply in the experience itself. Whatever its appeal, this year’s experience undoubtedly fostered a sense of global citizenship and a deeper appreciation for diverse ways of life.
