Embarking on an Extraordinary Journey: Our 2024 Global Student Experience to Italy Academics It is with immense excitement that we embarked on our 2024 global studies trip to Italy, a testament to our commitment to facilitating extraordinary student experiences and learning opportunities inside and outside of the classroom. More than a school trip, it was a chance for our students to take a deep dive into the heart of history, culture, and culinary delights, and gain a real-world understanding of their place in the vast tapestry of global society. A Journey Through the Heart of Italy Our 2024 excursion guided our students through the cobblestone streets and historic vistas of Italy’s most iconic cities: Rome, Florence, Verona, and Venice. Each city is a chapter in the living history book of Italy, offering such stories, experiences, and vistas as time-traveling experiences through ancient ruins, the majestic Colosseum, the works of such timeless greats as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and other titans of art and science, the well-renowned labyrinth of waterways that weave through the city of Venice, not to mention all of the stunning architecture, and world-renowned cuisine. This journey represented an unparalleled opportunity to expand our students’ horizons, offering them a deeper understanding of the world and their role within it. For some, it ignited a passion for Italian cuisine, others gravitated towards its history, and the arts, still others found wonder simply in the experience itself. Whatever its appeal, this year’s experience undoubtedly fostered a sense of global citizenship and a deeper appreciation for diverse ways of life. Stay Tuned for More We’ll be sharing more details of our students’ experiences on this incredible adventure, so be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for further insights.
