Enriching Educational & Experiential Trip to the Nation’s Capital Events The trip to Ottawa for Intermediate students was an enriching and unforgettable experience! As the capital city of Canada, Ottawa is steeped in history, culture, and national significance, offering students a unique opportunity to explore the heart of their country. From visiting iconic landmarks like Parliament Hill and the National Gallery of Canada to exploring historic sites such as the Rideau Canal and the Canadian Museum of History, the itinerary was packed with educational and immersive activities that served to broaden students’ perspectives and deepen their understanding of Canadian identity and heritage. Beyond the educational aspect, the trip to Ottawa provided Intermediate students with a chance to bond with their peers, build lasting friendships, and create memories that will last them a lifetime. Together the students enjoyed shared experiences such as embarking on guided tours and enjoying leisurely strolls through vibrant neighborhoods as they connected with one another and shared in the excitement of exploring a new city together. As they immersed themselves in the sights, sounds, and stories of Ottawa, this invaluable trip enabled students to not only gain a greater appreciation for their country’s capital but also develop important life skills such as teamwork, independence, and cultural awareness. We are so thrilled to facilitate such cultural local, national and international experiences for our students as an enriching extension to their in-class academic programs.
