Excellence in Action: Two Students Shine at the Peel Region Science Fair Academics, Events At Newton’s Grove School, academic curiosity, scientific exploration, and the pursuit of excellence are foundational pillars of our learning community. We are thrilled to share the outstanding accomplishments of two of our remarkable students — Dylan and Ryan — who recently represented our school with distinction at the Peel Region Science Fair (PRSF). Dylan – Honorable Mention (Top 5%) Among hundreds of innovative student projects, Dylan’s project was in the top 5% of all entries. His outstanding project earned him an impressive Honorable Mention which was only granted to five students in the entire competition—a rare honor that speaks volumes about the calibre of Dylan’s work. Ryan – Specialty Award: Credit Valley Horticultural Society Award Equally as impressive, Ryan was one of just two students in the entire competition to receive the Credit Valley Horticultural Society Award. This distinguished Specialty Award recognizes a student whose project exemplifies excellence in horticulture, plant biology, and environmental science, combining scientific inquiry with practical applications in the field. Our Own Newton’s Grove Honorable Mentions! We want to wish profound congratulations to all of the Peel Region Science Fair participants – Davison, Dylan Puri, Ryan, Sofia, and Zakariya. You represented yourselves and Newton’s Grove School so very well! Thank you for committing your talents, hard work, and dedication to the PRSF and everything that you do. A School That Nurtures Future Innovators Our students’ impressive representation at the Peel Region Science Fair is a testament to the culture of curiosity and academic excellence fostered at Newton’s Grove School. We are incredibly proud of their hard work, and we commend them for representing our school with such distinction. Our students’ successes also reflect the invaluable support of our dedicated science faculty, who encourage students to explore boldly, think critically, and to showcase their very own extraordinary in everything that they do.
