Technology and the Skilled Trades, is a Grade 10 Ontario course where students get hands-on experience designing, prototyping, and creating solutions to real-world problems using the engineering design process, exploring various industries (like manufacturing, construction, healthcare), applying quality/safety standards, and learning about potential careers and training pathways in skilled trades. It’s a compulsory part of the new Ontario curriculum, focusing on practical skills, technological concepts, and career exploration.
