Finding Their Voice: The Art of Speaking Competitions

Newton’s Grove School is proud to host our highly anticipated Art of Speaking Competitions during the first week of May. 

This year we are excited to extend our competition beyond our school walls by inviting top public speaking students from other schools to join our talented orators in this celebration of eloquence and persuasive communication.

The competitions will showcase students presenting compelling speeches on various themes, from persuasive arguments to dramatic interpretations. Participants will be evaluated by a panel of judges on criteria such as content, presentation skills, and overall impact. This friendly competition provides valuable experience in public speaking—a crucial skill for academic and professional success.

Public speaking builds confidence, critical thinking, and effective communication skills. By organizing these competitions, we aim to provide a platform where students can share their perspectives, refine their presentation techniques, and learn from their peers. 

We invite our school community, including parents and guardians, to attend and support all participants as they demonstrate the powerful art of effective communication.
