Lights, Camera, Action – Exciting Drama Productions Coming Soon!

Students practicing for drama productions

One of the highlights of our academic year is our series of drama productions. And we are so pleased to announce that our drama productions are now in progress with a lot of theatrical activity happening around our school. Our amazing drama teacher, Mrs. Hewitt has been working with our music faculty and creative students to put together some fantastic shows for your entertainment.

First up will be the middle school production of “100 Years of Television” taking place November 20-22, 2023 at the Assembly Hall Theatre. And what a performance it’s going to be! 75 students in grades 5-8 will take you through a century of TV hits, performing songs and themes from your favorite shows over the decades. With music from the 50s through today, this show is sure to be nostalgic and bring back fantastic memories. Come watch our talented students act, sing, and dance on November 23rd with shows at 11:20 am and 7pm.

The younger students are also getting in on the act with “Lights, Camera, Christmas” on December 4-6 in the school’s impressive 32,000 sq. ft Athletic Centre. This Christmas show will feature Hollywood director caricatures and festive tunes. Parents, be sure to mark your calendars for the performance on December 7th.

And stay tuned for the senior school production which will be held at the Assembly Hall Theatre, February 11-15. We are delighted that preparations are underway and auditions will be happening in the coming weeks. The final performance for the high school production is set for February 15th, at 7pm.

With so much talent on display, you won’t want to miss out! Be sure to save the dates with more information about purchasing tickets coming in the next few weeks.

Our drama productions are amazing opportunities to support our budding stars and to join us for a night of unforgettable memories!
