Michele Temple Walkathon

On October 7 & 8, NGS hosted our 14th annual Michele Temple Walkathon and Fundraiser. The event was held in honour of Michele Temple, the parent of one of our former students, who succumbed to melanoma cancer. Our school’s personal connection to this cause is what encourages our annual walkathon and fundraiser, directed towards melanoma cancer research. The students participated in a variety of activities and most importantly, raised money. Since its beginning, we have raised over $75 000. Dr. Temple, Michele’s husband, spoke to our community about the importance of this cause. Great work WINGS! Thank you for all your hard work in making this event successful.
