We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.
We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway provider’s database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, name, addresses, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.
Do we use cookies?
Newton’s Grove School uses cookies to track your activities on our website through Google Analytics. The data collected is transmitted and stored in the United States, but does not identify individual users or IP addresses. This data is used to help us understand the kinds of visitors we receive and better serve new and current parents.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. Newton’s Grove School (“NGS”) is committed to providing excellent customer service in a manner that, as much as reasonably possible, respects an individual’s dignity, independence, integration and equality of opportunity, including, for those with disabilities. In its ongoing efforts to strive for accessibility, the School endorses the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and the regulations supporting this Act.
Application
This policy applies to all employees, volunteers and agents of NGS who interact with our customers, be they current and prospective students, current, prospective and past parents/relatives, alumni, agents, donors and other users of our services.
Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to outline the practices and procedures approved by NGS in order to meet the obligations of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 and specifically the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service, Regulation 429/07. NGS, through this policy, establishes and implements practices and procedures consistent with its goal of compliance, as well as its commitment to excellent customer service for all.
This policy aims to ensure that people with disabilities, visible or invisible, are given the same opportunity as others to obtain and benefit from services offered by NGS. Reasonable efforts will be made to ensure that services offered by NGS are provided in such a way that the key principles of independence, dignity, integration and equality of opportunity for persons with disabilities are respected in the following areas:
Communication
NGS will communicate to people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability. We will train our staff and volunteers on how to interact and communicate with people with disabilities. We will train our staff and volunteers to communicate over the telephone in plain language and to speak clearly.
Assistive Devices
NGS is committed to service people with diverse disabilities who use assistive devices to obtain, use or benefit from our services. We will ensure that our employees and volunteers are aware of the various assistive devices provided by NGS, for customers with disabilities while accessing our services.
Billing
NGS is committed to providing accessible invoices to all our customers. For this reason, invoices will be provided in alternative formats upon request.
Use of Animal Services
If a person with a disability is accompanied by a guide dog or other service animal, NGS will ensure that the person is permitted to enter the School premises and to keep the animal with him or her, unless the animal is otherwise excluded by law. While visiting NGS, it is the responsibility of the person with a service animal to control the animal at all times.
If the service animal is excluded by law from NGS premises, NGS will reasonably ensure that other measures are available to enable the person with a disability to obtain, use or benefit from the School’s services.
In the event a staff member or student is allergic to the service animal, alternative arrangements will be negotiated.
Use of Support Person
If a person with a disability is accompanied by a support person, NGS will ensure that both persons are permitted to enter the School premises together and that the person with a disability is not prevented from having access to the support person while on the premises. NGS may require a person with a disability to be accompanied by a support person while on School premises, in situations where it is necessary to protect the health and safety of the person with a disability, or the health and safety of others on the School premises.
Consent from the person with a disability is required when communicating private issues related to the person with a disability, in the presence of a support person.
For those School events where admission fees apply, these fees will be waived for support persons. NGS will ensure that notice is given in advance of relevant events or activities that admission fees will be waived for support persons.
Notice of Temporary Disruption
NGS will make reasonable effort to provide customers with notice in the event of a disruption in the facilities or services usually used by people with disabilities. This notice will include information about 3 the reason for the disruption, its anticipated duration, and a description of alternative facilities or services, if available. We will not be able to give adequate notice in case of an emergency temporary disruption.
In order to make information accessible, signs and printed notices of sufficient size that are easily readable will be prepared.
The signs and printed notices will be displayed prominently at the entrance to the School, on noticeboards and at service desks.
Telephone messages will be left in clear and concise language.
Training for Staff
NGS will ensure that all persons to whom this policy applies receive training as required by the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service Regulation. Training will be provided to new NGS employees as part of orientation training for new employees. Training will also be provided on an ongoing basis in connection with changes to the policies and procedures governing the provision of goods and services to person with disabilities.
NGS will ensure that the following persons receive training about the provision of goods and services to persons with disabilities:
The training will include a review of the purposes of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act 2005, and the requirements of the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service Regulation.
The amount and format of training will depend on the person’s interaction with customers.
A record of training received by staff and volunteers will be kept in the NGS Human Resources Department.
Feedback Process
The purpose of this policy is to provide a framework through which NGS can achieve service excellence for people with disabilities. NGS welcomes feedback, including feedback about the delivery of services to persons with disabilities. You may submit feedback, including alternate format requests to the Principal in written format, verbally or by email to pedwards@newtonsgroveschool.com. Alternatively, you can submit feedback to any school employee, and it will be forwarded to the appropriate person.

Introduction
This Agreement contains the complete terms and conditions that apply to you in making payments and using our website for any other activities. By using or making payments from this website, you agree to be bound by its terms of use and shall comply thereof. This Agreement describes and encompasses the entire agreement between us and you, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties and understandings with respect to the Site, the content and computer programs provided by or through the Site, and the subject matter of this Agreement. Amendments to this agreement can be made and effected by us from time to time without specific notice to you. The Agreement posted on the Site reflects the latest agreement and you should carefully review the same before you use our site.
Use of the Site & Prohibitions
The Site allows you to make payments in respect of school fees and to make charitable donations. However, you are prohibited from doing the following, to wit: (a) use our sites, including its services and or tools if you are not able to form legally binding contracts, are under the age of 18, or are temporarily or indefinitely suspended from using our sites, services, or tools; (b) collecting information about users’ personal information.
For you to complete the sign-up process in our site, you must provide your full legal name, current address, a valid email address, and any other information needed in order to complete the signup process. You must verify that you are 18 years or older and are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activities and contents that are uploaded under your account. You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
Payments & Processes of Invoices
Newton’s Grove School has the sole discretion to provide the terms of payment. All online payments must be made by credit card. Invoices are due and payable within the time period noted on your invoice, measured from the date of the invoice. The cancellation or right to refuse any payment is in the sole and absolute discretion of Newton’s Grove School. Newton’s Grove School is not responsible for pricing, typographical, or other errors in any offer by Newton’s Grove School and reserves the right to cancel any orders arising from such errors. All payments are processed in Canadian Dollars.
Refund Policy
Newton’s Grove School does not provide a refund on any fee payment or donation.
Fees
The fees displayed on our website represents the fee schedule in place for the current academic year.
Editing, Deleting and Modification
We may edit, delete or modify any of the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement, at any time and in our sole discretion, by posting a notice or a new agreement on our site. YOUR CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN OUR PROGRAM FOLLOWING OUR POSTING OF A CHANGE NOTICE OR NEW AGREEMENT ON OUR SITE WILL CONSTITUTE BINDING ACCEPTANCE OF THE CHANGE.
Acknowledgment of Rights
You hereby acknowledge that all rights, titles and interests, including but not limited to rights covered by the Intellectual Property Rights, in and to the site, are those of Newton’s Grove School, and that You will not acquire any right, title, or interest in or to the Program except as expressly set forth in this Agreement. You will not modify, adapt, translate, prepare derivative works from, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive source code from any of our services, software, or documentation, or create or attempt to create a substitute or similar service or product through use of or access to the Program or proprietary information related thereto.
Fraud
Our site is highly monitored for FRAUDULENT ACTIVITIES and if fraud is detected Newton’s Grove School shall be entitled to use any and all remedies available to us, and you shall be responsible for all costs and legal fees arising from these fraudulent activities.
Warranty Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
We will not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages, or any loss of revenue, profits, or data, arising in connection with this Agreement or the Program, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We make no express or implied warranties or representations with respect to the Program (including, any implied warranties arising out of a course of performance). In addition, we make no representation that the operation of our site will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we will not be liable for the consequences of any interruptions or errors. This site and its information, contents, materials, products and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. You and understand and agree that your use of this site is at your own risk.
Confidentiality
You agree not to disclose information you obtain from us and/or from our clients. Such customer information is confidential and may not be disclosed, and you agree not to reproduce, disseminate, sell, distribute or commercially exploit any such proprietary information in any manner.
Non-Waiver
The failure of Newton’s Grove School to insist upon strict performance of any of the terms, conditions and covenants hereof shall not be deemed a relinquishment or waiver of any rights or remedy that we may have, nor shall it be construed as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the terms, conditions or covenants hereof, which terms, conditions and covenants shall continue to be in full force and effect.
No waiver by either party of any breach of any provision hereof shall be deemed a waiver of any subsequent or prior breach of the same or any other provision.
Miscellaneous
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, without any reference to conflict-of-laws principles.
Any dispute, controversy or difference which may arise between the parties out of, in relation to or in connection with this Agreement shall be irrevocably submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, to the exclusion of any other courts without giving effect to its conflict of laws provisions or your actual province or country of residence.
The entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof is embodied in this agreement and no other agreement relative hereto shall bind either party herein.
Your rights under this agreement cannot be assigned nor transferred to anybody, and any such attempt may result in termination of this Agreement, without liability to us. However, we may assign this Agreement to any person at any time without notice.
In the event that any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found invalid or unenforceable pursuant to any judicial decree or decision, such provision shall be deemed to apply only to the extent permitted by that judicial decree or decision or shall be severed, and the remaining Terms and Conditions shall remain valid and enforceable according to their terms.
