Senior Students Rally Around the Raptors

Earlier this month Newton’s Grove Senior School enjoyed a trip to Toronto to see the Raptors in action! 

This exciting trip was the perfect combination of students tapping into school spirit while appreciating the thrills of professional athletics in action. This gave our students a chance to experience the electric atmosphere of a professional basketball game while building stronger bonds with their classmates and teachers.

Beyond the excitement of the game itself, this outing provided valuable lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, and community building. The trip enabled students to witness firsthand how professional athletes work together, communicate, and execute strategies – skills that translate well beyond the basketball court. Not to mention the sheer joy of spending the day together, forging bonds outside of the classroom arena.

This special event is just one example of how Newton’s Grove is deliberate about fostering memorable experiences that enhance our students’ educational experiences.
