Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra

We would like to give a huge congratulations to 4 extremely talented musicians: Rachel (percussion), Kannan (alto saxophone), Justin (trumpet) and Michael (clarinet).

These exceptional musicians were accepted into the Toronto Youth Wind Orchestra. The orchestra is made up of 55 musicians whose technical and musical levels are extremely high. The majority of students accepted into this orchestra are university students in Music Performance. This prestigious orchestra has collaborated with internationally recognized composers and conductors from all over the world. Their performances have taken them all over Canada, the U.S., Europe, and China. Many of its alumni now perform in professional orchestras such as the Saint Louis Symphony, Victoria Symphony, Calgary Philharmonic, and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

This has been an unprecedented achievement for our students. A huge bravo to the accomplishments of our school’s musicians. You continue to make us so proud!
